Dirtyface Peak (Lake Wenatchee)  6/11/2006

We were able to drive up Road FS 6403 about 2 mile to the "Auto Tour 2" viewpoint.
From here the road was blocked.  After a 10 minute hike we got great views of Mt David.

  
We followed the road until it ended, then headed up into a nice scramble gully.  We continued working our way 
up, going right, left, right ... until reaching the final summit mastiff.  There was a nice Register with one page filled.

          
Summit group enjoying the moments before the weather begins to close in.  Beautiful views of
 the White River below.  It was not long before the Thunder became so close it was time to leave.
