Twin Peaks (Barlow Pass)  5/9/2004

Checked out the Monte Cristo road.  Lot of Damage (2003 floods) at the Clay Slide, and requires 
high clearance (>10").  The area at the Twin Bridge was wash-out before the first bridge pretty bad.

               
As we heading up we go some views; 1) Del Campo, 2) Monte Cristo group, 3) Twin Peaks.  

           
The back side of the notch, Matt on the summit, looking down a corniced ridge, and looking over at
the West Summit.  The high point of the two summits seems like the East Pk is higher.

        
The ledge after crossing the large snowfield on W Pk, Matt on the summit of the W Peak.  
The rock  pinnacle is the W Pk looking from the west, which is NOT the easy route.  Last
looking down at the  Belayer and the East Peak in the back (there is a sub-summit between)

            
Del Campo to Morning Start, summit register on the E Pk, and Big 4s Dry Gulch route.
