We checked out the right Gully and we knew we were not going that way. The
Old Town of Monte Cristo. Columbia & Monte Cristo Pass half way up.

The Ridge opened up at 4400', and it was great traveling. A traverse
at 6300'. First view of the summit
and it matched the route description. On the face we spotted a goat trying
to climb up, then down.

Jim leading out on the face and it looked easy but Beckey's Class 4 was
really Class 5.3. Made
the summit with super views. Ida Lake would be a worthy option to climb
this and the other Peaks.
