This trip was up the NF Sauk trail and then up the Pilot Ridge trail to the ridge crest. From
there I headed NW to the end of the ridge. Last summer I failed on reaching this summit when it
got dark and fog moved in.  I realized my error when I got home after studing the map.  I had to return.
