We had our trip interrupted by a visiting Black Bear. He/She did approach us
and really wanted to come closer. We yelled and waved and it backed off. We
decided to leave the area for lunch, but it followed and got too close for comfort,
so we left to return to the cars (leaving our work unfinished). This was scary.
